Having spent a few months now advising people about Windows 10, its interesting how different age groups react differently to the fact that Windows10 has a key stroke logger built in. The younger set couldn't give a toss, they think that is just the way things are. Older students and myself were horrified to realise the fact, and that were trusting Microsoft to keep a lour personal login information for the many sites we use everyday, private. You know its only a matter of time before hackers and or Governments gain access to this information stored by Microsoft. Inside the suite of Windows 10, Home cant be disabled and have the keystroke logger turned off. Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise can have the logger disabled and I'll put links below to show you the steps. Personally I dont like the way Microsoft are in essence forcing people to use Windows 10, as outlined above. If you are are like me you still have trusty Windows 7, I'll set out a series of graphics below that will show you how to control whats downloading from Microsoft by way of updates, and how to stop Windows 10 downloading and installing itself. Control Panel 3. Click Windows Updates 4. Click Change Settings 5. Click and select Check for updates etc as shown above. 6. Check and uncheck the updates you want. 7. Finally click install updates. Away with pesky Windows and time to enjoy Windows 7 without pressure from Microsoft.
